From the hills to the Adige – Travelling

An invitation to slow tourism in the area among the river Adige, South of Padova and the Euganean Hills (Veneto) following the journey of the writer, journalist and walker Alessandra Beltrame. She visits small oratories, churches, sanctuaries on the ancient pilgrim routes, and often meets people telling her about the history of these religious buildings. She walks through villages and also through fields, along riverbanks… Her journey is both through history and nature, in a unique balance of beauty built by men and natural places.
